Below are the distance learning options available from the Association for Psychological Therapies (APT).
Available for nearly all of our courses*, an Online Live Course typically takes slightly less time than the live course on which it is based (because of less group discussion and group exercises) but they are live and pleasingly interactive.
Available for our top 6 most ordered courses (and more), online training means you can obtain APT-quality input at a time that is convenient to you and minimizes the need for 'cover' normally associated with training.
Every Wednesday the APT is hosting a series of FREE webinars for mental health professionals and others, to help you help people get through the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis as well as they possibly can do.
You can access the introductory course of the APT's Higher Order Therapy modules, free of charge. These 1-hour CPD courses consist of an audio lasting 15-30 minutes, plus resources and exercise(s) to complete. Filter for ‘Free’.
*Doesn't include courses that are skills-based, and ones that rely on a lot of live practice.
Distance learning divides into Online Live Courses and Online Anytime Courses, so do you know which is the best for you and your team? The table here is intended to help you decide. And of course it doesn’t have to be ‘either-or’, you can build a blend of both.
